Working Student - Event Coordinator

About the role
We are looking for a proactive working student to join deskbird as an Event Coordinator and join our amazing People & Culture Team. You will organise the most sociable get-togethers (online and on side) and the most challenging team activities. Think big, creative and sustainable! Tasks related to event management include logistics, location bookings, lunch, workshops, etc.. 
You will
  • Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
  • Booking venues and other service
  • Creating schedules for employees needed for each event
  • Solving problems that may arise during events
  • Coordinating multiple events at once
  • Process all invoices to ensure vender payments
  • Measuring employee event satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement
You have
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to the details 
  • Good organizational and time management skills
You are
  • Proficient English, further languages would be a plus
  • Enthusiastic about learning and growing a lot at deskbir
