IT Security Working Student (f/m/d)

Your mission
As a Working Student in IT Security, you’ll support our Security & Compliance team in building and maintaining trust with our customers. You’ll help ensure deskbird meets high security and compliance standards by supporting customer security requests, maintaining security documentation, and contributing to internal processes.

This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world SaaS security, customer trust, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-growing tech company.
In this role you will
  • Support the handling of customer security questions, due diligence requests, and trust-related inquiries.
  • Help maintain and improve security documentation, policies, and internal knowledge bases.
  • Support deskbird’s ongoing compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Contribute to improving and scaling security and trust processes in a SaaS environment.
What you need to be successful
  • Currently enrolled (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
  • Very good English skills (written and spoken); German is a strong plus.
  • Strong interest in IT security, trust, and compliance.
  • Basic understanding of SaaS products and cloud environments is a plus.
  • First practical experience through internships or student jobs is a plus.
