Senior Full Stack Engineer (f/m/d)

Your mission

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and help us build and scale deskbird's world-class SaaS application for workplace management.

You will play a key role in developing a platform engineered for reliability, scale, and an exceptional user experience. You won’t just ship new features; you’ll refine how users experience our product at every step, ensuring each interaction is intuitive and frictionless.

In this role you will

Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable features across our entire technology stack.
Contribute to both the design and implementation of APIs and backend services, ensuring efficient, reliable data flows throughout the system.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to translate user needs and business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Integrate and maintain third-party services and APIs to enhance our application's capabilities.
Coach and learn from others through code reviews and technical discussions, helping to raise the bar for engineering quality across the platform.
Partner with product, design, and UX to validate ideas, iterate quickly, and ship impactful improvements.
Lead and contribute to cross-cutting technical initiatives, establishing best practices and shaping the overall architecture of our application.

What you need to be successful

Proven experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications.
Experience with modern software development best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, agile methodologies, and AI-assisted tools.
A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures, database and API design.
A track record of translating complex designs into high-quality, maintainable code.
Solid backend skills with Node.js and REST APIs.
A strong drive to continuously learn and upskill yourself and others.
Strong understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and modern web architecture best practices.
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively.
Location: Must be based in the European Union (EU).

Bonus points for:

Experience with our tech stack, particularly Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
