Content & Communication Manager (f/m/d)

Your mission

Come join the deskbird team as our new Content & Communications Manager. In this exciting role, you will develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance our brand visibility and engagement with a strong focus on the DACH market. The role also involves creating compelling B2B copy, planning and organising events and PR activities, and managing our social media channels, with a strong focus on LinkedIn.

In this role you will
1. Content management
  • Develop and execute high-quality B2B content of different formats (text, pictures, videos) tailored to our target audience, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, videos, and website content.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with our brand voice, values, and messaging guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and produce content that addresses customer needs and market trends.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
2. Events, communication, and PR management
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, webinars, and trade shows to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Develop event communication plans, including pre-event promotion, on-site communication, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Manage relationships with event partners, sponsors, and vendors to ensure successful event execution.
  • Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to promote company news, product launches, and events.
3. Social media management
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Create and curate engaging content (EN and DE), including posts, articles, and multimedia, to drive audience interaction and growth.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimise strategies.
  • Engage with followers, industry influencers, and key stakeholders to build and maintain a strong online community.
What you need to be successful
  • Work experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Fluent German speaker (min C1 written/spoken) with excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in copywriting, storytelling, and content creation.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure and report on the effectiveness of communication and social media efforts.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Nice to have
  • Experience in event planning, communication, and PR.
  • Proficiency in video production and familiarity with video editing tools and software.
